Awesomesauce! Sweet Peril is truly a great follow-up book for Sweet Evil! It just goes BAM BAM BAM with loads of HEARTBREAK HEARTBREAK HEARTBREAK AND ... LOVE LOVE LOVE ALL THE WAY!
The story picks up months after the summit, which happened at the end of Sweet Evil. We finds out that Anna is already doing her "job" as the Daughter of Belial, which means a
Then BAM BAM BAM happens.
Sister Ruth makes an appearance as a spirit and tells Anna the prophecy (READ THE BOOK IF YOU ARE CURIOUS ENOUGH ABOUT THIS PROPHECY). Anna tells her dad about it. Dad devices a plan. Dad sends Anna and Kopano to a journey around the world to gather up allies. Zania. Marna and Ginger. Flynn, who ends up dying in the hands of his father because of not being honest about this secret mission. Bless his soul, for trying to keep it to himself even facing his own death already.
HEARTBREAK HEARTBREAK LOVE LOVE LOVE ALL THE WAY! *SPAZZING*
Sooooo Kaidan and Anna's relationship is quite a wreck at the beginning of this book. Both of them are HURTING. *sobs* Kaidan was really trying to stay away from Anna, even if it entails hurting himself too.
Annnnd he has this issue with his himself too, in which he thinks that he is not deserving of Anna ... and she's much better if she was with Kopano.
Oh well, I can just assure you that Kaidan and Anna are in a much stable position in terms of their relationship. Read the book and find out! *FANS MYSELF* SIZZLING HOTTTTTTTTT! THEIR CHEMISTRY IS JUST PHEW PHEW OFF THE ROOF! That "pent up emotions from not being together for such a long time" was just CBDSHFBJSANDJSN!
Another character that stood out for me was HAHAHAH BLAKE! He's just the funny dude in these books! I love him! Whenever he appears, he just makes that scene so much lighter by cracking up jokes or teasing Anna/Kaidan! HAHAHA!
I CAN'T FREAKIN' WAIT FOR THE RELEASE OF SWEET RECKONING! I KNOW IT'S GONNA BE EPIC AND PRETTY MUCH INTENSE DNAMSDN ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE IN THAT BOOK!
Bye x
