Cover Reveal: Gates by Laurie Lyons

A thin strand of ivy stretched on its own and reached down for his hand, entwining itself around his finger. Nathaniel twisted it in his fingers thoughtfully.
“What am I going to do?” he whispered at the moon.  He looked at Lucy’s sleeping face again and then at the moon. “Save her,” he almost begged, “let it kill me but save her, if you can.” He gazed back at her, a pained smile twisted on his mouth. He leaned his head back against the pillow and let go of the ivy, watching it wind its way back up to the rafters.
He didn’t sleep. This was not going to end well.

In the second book of The Feather Trilogy, Lucy and Nathaniel have started their sophomore year at Mulbridge University. Everything seems perfect but a series of strange accidents leave them both wondering if something sinister is lurking. Is it just fate or is something evil after Lucy’s soul? Does Roman, recently returned from the depths of Hell, have anything to do with it? Nathaniel and Lucy struggle to find answers until all is terrifyingly revealed on the Winter Solstice in an ending that will leave you breathless.

Gates is an exhilarating, exciting read that will keep you guessing until the very last page.

GATES will be released May 24 on Amazon.com, Amazon.ca and at Chapters in South Calgary Alberta Canada

Shatter. Destroy. UNRAVEL ME.

Hello there, my dear readers!

It's been a month already since my last post and I kind of miss blogging about random stuff. If you're wondering what was I doing this past few weeks - here you go. I was busy with school (finishing everything up so that I can graduate in time), busy managing Facebook Pages, busy reading books and then GRADUATED. Yes. I'm now a college graduate and needs to look for a job already. *pats my shoulder*

Anyways.
Here we go, random post.

Books. Books. Books are my friends whenever I'm at home. They keep my heart beating with the different stories I read from them and they keep my fangirling/shipping heart satisfied with the different pairings they have. All the feels in this world. I tell you, if you're really into the book you are reading, you will be able to feel every single emotion it can possibly give you.

Recent books that I've read: Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi (Shatter Me, Destroy Me and Unravel Me). Seriously. You need to read this books - freakin' awesome! The twist and turns of the story, how the characters are entwined with each other and the pairings that the series has. It surely is worth your time reading, none of it will be put to waste. *Bows down* to Ms. Author - Tahereh.

Talking about pairings and feels - my recent OTP (One True Pairing) Juliette and Ad-- oops. Not that pairing. TEAM WARNER OVER HERE!

O-M-G WARNER! There's just something in him that makes me ksrfjdklaeskddfjdgnsekd *insert alien fangirl talk*. Come on guys read the books, then you'll know why I reacted that way. I love Warner. Warner. Oh Warner.

Brb. Chapter 62-ing with Warner. HAHA. Loljk. Ignore my random ramblings. -.-

I'm excited for the novella (Shatter Me 2.5) that Tahereh's mentioning and I think it's going to be released on December. But fans are still clueless as to who's POV it'll be. Please let it be Warner. Warner. I need to know what he's thinking.

Of course, I can't wait for the release of Shatter Me 3 which will be next year. There's just so many questions running through my mind with regards to this one. Okay. I can't deal with this right now. HAHA!

END NOTE: READ THOSE BOOKS AND TWEET ME @AmandaNicolette AFTER YOU'VE FINISHED READING IT! I SWEAR YOU'LL BE NEEDING SOMEONE WHOM YOU CAN TALK TO. Well. I guess that's it for me now.

I'll be back soon.

- Amanda <3
