BOOK REVIEW: (Ruin, #1) by Rachel Van Dyken

Ruin (Ruin, #1)Ruin by Rachel Van Dyken
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In the past few days, I've devoted my time in finishing up Opal and Origin from the Lux Series (which are YA books). So I decided to take a breather. A friend of mine suggested to read this book, I immediately checked my goodreads account and guess what - I've already included this on my to-read pile!

Then I started to read this book ...

Not even 5% of the book, I was already laughing my ass off with the scenes and interactions between our characters! Weston is just so funny (and totally hot)! His lines are the bomb and when Kiersten's character is there - OMG! I can't even HAHA it gets even funnier and as a reader it was really fun to witness their interaction! Their banters are so cute! I love it!

From the moment Weston was mentioned in the book *hands down* I love him already! As the story progresses, I learn more about him (his personality and hints about his dilemma) and my heart's truly with him.

AND THEN ... I was crying my heart out as Weston's situation is being narrated. The turn of events in the story. The lines that I was reading, and some were being delivered by Weston. My heart is aching at that point and tears were already free flowing from my eyes. It was that good. Touched. Moved. Wrecked. Somewhat hopeless ... *sobs* I can't even think straight.

I totally recommend this book. Great read, guys! This book will make you LOL, make you cry and make you realize about life. You'll certainly learn something out of the things Wes was saying in the book.

"We conquered fears together, we learned, we laughed, and we loved..." - Wes
