[Year-Round YA and NA Guide: A List of My Most Anticipated 2015 Releases] January 2015

Happy New Year, everyone!

Oh New Year? Are you, booknerds and fangirls, thinking what I'm thinking right now? New year = New Books. In which it also means that we'll be going through another round of piles and tons of amazing NEW BOOKS coming our way for the entirety of the year. 12 months. 365 days that we need to keep tabs on what'll be releasing on a specific date and on the next one. I know. I feel you, guys. It's a tough task to have all book titles and publication dates memorized and organized. We ALWAYS end up mixing the publication date of one book and of another one. Right?

So, seven days ago (Yep, this was totally a rush blog event thingo) I had this crazy and random idea of listing down SOME of the titles that I know and am anticipating to be released this year! Scribble. Scribble. Continue scribbling on my notebook and that's when I had the epiphany! What if I list it down by month, try to contact some of the authors that will be featured on that specific month and share it to my blog readers? That'll be cool, right?

THAT'S WHY I ENDED UP HAVING THIS CRAZINESS RIGHT HERE! In the coming days, I'll be posting a list of my anticipated books per month. I will also be having some author interviews, exclusive excerpts (and I think there'll be a giveaway) here in my blog! Feature posts will be separated from the main post to avoid it being such a lengthy one. Is that okay for you? Eeeep! I'm really excited to share my 2015 list and every other post that comes after that to every single one of you. I hope you'll really take time and read it.

Thank youuuuuus are needed. This wouldn't be as awesome as it is now without the authors who responded to me and who allowed me to interview them (give excerpt/s) in such a short notice. I'm really sorry for that. Everyone was just very lovely and accommodating, considering that it was a holiday period. I'm sending hugs and kisses all the way from the Philippines to everyone of you! <3

Okay, I should stop rambling now and let you check out my post. Enjoy, take note  of book titles that appeals to you and be sure to check other posts here on my blog!

Publisher: Viking Juvenile

SYNOPSIS

Cody and Meg were inseparable.

Two peas in a pod.

Until . . . they weren’t anymore.

When her best friend Meg drinks a bottle of industrial-strength cleaner alone in a motel room, Cody is understandably shocked and devastated. She and Meg shared everything—so how was there no warning? But when Cody travels to Meg’s college town to pack up the belongings left behind, she discovers that there’s a lot that Meg never told her. About her old roommates, the sort of people Cody never would have met in her dead-end small town in Washington. About Ben McAllister, the boy with a guitar and a sneer, who broke Meg’s heart. And about an encrypted computer file that Cody can’t open—until she does, and suddenly everything Cody thought she knew about her best friend’s death gets thrown into question.

I Was Here is Gayle Forman at her finest, a taut, emotional, and ultimately redemptive story about redefining the meaning of family and finding a way to move forward even in the face of unspeakable loss.
