Hollywood reboots "-MAN" Heroes from DC and Marvel Comics!

We may consider that from last year's movie scene, we received a NO show from SPIDER-MAN, SUPERMAN and BATMAN. But instead we've got the chance to meet other DC and Marvel heroes. Thor, Green Lantern, Captain America and Iron Man's character stories were now highlighted and given the chance to be turned into hit movies.

But now, we may already need some trend check. It may just seems that Hollywood may now be trailing the path for the reboots of the "-MAN" superheroes.

Case #1: June 29, 2012 (for Philippines) - release date for The Amazing Spider-MAN movie. After 4 years of NO Peter Parker on our movie screens, Sony Pictures decided to reboot the whole franchise. This movie will be quite different from the first three, for this one will be a Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst FREE. Instead a new set of actors will be stepping in for the roles.

The Social Network/American-British actor, Andrew Garfield was the one who landed the most coveted role for this movie...Peter Parker/Spider-MAN. While Emma Stone will be playing his character's love interest, Gwen Stacy.

The story focuses on the high school Peter Parker who's trying to discover the ins and outs of life. And as he was figuring out his identity, secrets were unlocked and the next thing he knew... Check out the movie's trailer!

Case #2: On what year did we last saw Superman on movie theaters? Uhmmm. It was 2006, wherein Brandon Routh played Clark Kent/Superman in the movie Superman Returns.

That's not the end of the Superman movies though. Warner Bros. gives us MAN OF STEEL (reboot title for Superman). It is slated for release on June 14, 2013. Henry Cavill will be playing the role of Superman and Amy Adams for Lois Lane.

August 4, 2011, Warner Bros. released a first look image of Henry Cavill in costume as Superman. TADA!

Last one, Case #3: Not a reboot, but it's intended to be a CONCLUSION to a series. Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008) and now, the last installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman Film series ... THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. The movie is scheduled for release on July 20.

Christian Bale returns as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the movie. While Anne Hathaway joins the cast as she steps into the role of Selina Kyle. Watch the movie trailer below.

We really cannot tell what Hollywood's biggest studios are up to their sleeves when it comes to producing movies. Maybe in the up and coming years, they'll really take time and produce MOST of the DC and MARVEL characters in a movie format.

Ooopsie. Before I leave, you better watch The Amazing Spider-MAN once it gets released on your countries! Happy Watching! :)
